So I’ve decided that in order to keep my command line skills sharp and to continue learning even more, I needed to move my main site(s) over to a Cloud Server where I manage the entire LAMP stack directly. After some headaches with Wordpress I’ve completed the migration and things are up and running smoothly — and fast! I took this opportunity to start with a clean Wordpress install as well since this site was started on a very old version. I reinstalled all of my plugins, dropped a few, make a few other tweaks and then simply imported all my posts and comments instead of a database restore. What most people will probably notice is the new theme, or lack thereof. I sometimes prefer the minimalist approach and I found a great theme framework that I like, just the way it is. I still have a few tweaks to make but I’m almost there.
I’d appreciate some feedback on the new look/feel and any suggestions are always welcome!
